The extensive instrument checklist includes xylophone, bouzouki, clav organ, accordion, and theremin (to name a few), joined by a shoal of effects and watery samples. The sonic span widens into areas of psyche, dark funk, jazz, disco, ambient, Latin and chime-pop – a far cry away from the galleonic jigs and shanty style vocals that made up their sound of old.
