Blackballed

Blackballed emerged from the gritty underbelly of Manchester, Oldham, in 2012 as a raw and uncompromising trio fueled by a shared passion for hard-hitting rock and blues. The original lineup consisted of Marshall Gill (singer and guitarist), Tom Wibberly (bassist), and Marshall's brother Leon (drummer). The band quickly gained a reputation for their explosive live performances and a sound that blends classic rock sensibilities with a modern, ferocious edge.

In 2019, Alex Whitehead replaced Leon on drums when Leon left the band for personal reasons. Blackballed's commitment to authentic, unadulterated rock has led them to share stages with established acts, appear at well-known festivals, and tour extensively across Europe and beyond.
