MOST OF US WILL NEVER DO GREAT THINGS, BUT WE CAN ALL DO SMALL THINGS IN A GREAT WAY.
Chris Purusha co-founded Cabbage in 1998, a psychedelic techno/trance/chill-out night that ran monthly at Leeds West Indian Centre for many years. Being Resident DJ and live performer for Cabbage, Chris has played alongside some of the best known names in psychedelic electronica, including Eat Static, The Orb and System 7 - who invited him to be their DJ support on-tour and at the legendary 2006 Gong Unconvention in Amsterdam. Multi-instrumentalist and experienced festival performer, the Gong connections led to him spending time as Here & Now’s synth player. The Cabbage Crew also hosted a stage at the Off The Tracks festival on a few memorable occasions.
Chris is a fan of a wild variety of eclectic musical styles. At Off The Tracks, he will play his trademark electronic psychedelia, combining a live improvised progressive set and a DJ set.
