Blending heavy blues, 60s psychedelia, and rabidly intense rock and roll, Leicester’s GoldWater offer an unforgettable and energetic live performance that has to be seen to be believed. Live shows often descend into chaotic happenings as their wild, psychotic lead singer, aka The Preacher, clambers through the crowd preaching over the urgent, thundering band to deliver curses, baptisms and sermons!
The last three years have seen the band band grace the festival stages of Boomtown, Shambala, Bearded Theory, Deerstock, Equinox, Not a Cult, AWTP, Off The Tracks, Barefoot, Simon Says and many more, with explosive shows in London, Derby, Bristol, Nottingham, Newcastle, Leeds and four sell-out hometown shows in various venues across Leicester.
GoldWater formed from the ashes of a host of Leicester’s top bands, and in a few short years, their unique, theatrical sound has helped them enjoy supports with Alabama 3, Urban Voodoo Machine, Henge, Massive Wagons, Jim Jones, Skinny Lister, Kris Barras, King King and Ferocious Dog.
