Sword Swinging Robot was born of a lifelong love of electronic dance music and a drive to follow inspiration wherever it leads, fusing oldskool beats and techno rhythms with analogue synths, soaring strings and a healthy dose of acid 303.

Hailing from beautiful North Wales, Sword Swinging Robot co-hosts the Modulate events in Colwyn Bay and has performed at events across the North of England, including Seek Out Festival, Only Human, Electric Tentacle, Bleep and Derby's excellent Electronic Open Mic Night (EMOM) at Dubrek studios.

Live performance has always been at the heart of SSR’s philosophy. Inspired by acts like Orbital, The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers, his sets are constantly evolving to give tracks new life in the moment and take the audience on a journey which often crosses traditional genre boundaries.
