Zubzub is the creation of long-time Ozric Tentacles bass player, Zia Geelani. After leaving Ozrics, Zia grew Zubzub into an exciting live electronica act producing five albums and 2 EPs. Zubzub presents an eclectic combination of complex programming and live musical instruments, ranging from upbeat sonic dance floor fillers to melodic downtempo chill-out grooves.
Zubzub has played to packed dance tents at numerous festivals, including Glastonbury, Bearded Theory, the legendary Glade festivals UK, Hadra (in The Alps, France) and the Eclipse Festival in Indonesia. Zubzub has played on the bill with many of the UK’s favourite psychedelic dance acts, including Eat Static and System 7.
Zubzub has also become firm favourites at the long-running Whirligig Club, headlining New Year’s Eve parties and their festival, as well as playing Brixton Academy and the much-loved Lakota Club in Bristol.
